As soon as the Wildcat Entertainment Corps completes their fall season the winter guard begins preparing for their competitive indoor season.  The team develop skills in performing to music, including spinning flags, rifles, and sabres.  In addition to these equipment-handling skills, members also learn techniques in advanced movement, and dance.  The BOHS Winter Color Guard are the 2005, 2007, and 2008 Orange County Champions.

Information for Students and Parents:

Fall rehearsals for the Color Guard will take place every Tuesday from 3-6.  Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as needed.  proper notice will be given to the parents in case the need arises for such special rehearsals.  Attendance at all rehearsals is required for participation in the program.  If a student is unable to make a rehearsal the student or parent must notify Mr. Bartell or Rachel Neilson via phone call or email to be excused from that rehearsal.  Students who fail to notify the Director or Guard Instructor will have their grade docked with the possibility of being removed from all or part of the show.  This decision will be left up to the discretion of the Director and the Guard Instructor.

Any questions about the color guard should be directed to Mr. Bartell.
